Now in beta on iPhone
Keep what your people say.
QuoteUs is the quote book for your student house, your friends or your family. Save what gets said, credit the person who said it and share it only with the people who were there.
The beta runs on TestFlight, Apple's app for testing. Android and a web version are coming later.
“I'm not lost, I'm sightseeing.”
“Technically, carrot cake is a vegetable.”
Quote of the week
“Who put the soup in the dishwasher?”
A home for the best things you say
No more scrolling back through the group chat to find that one line.
Groups for everyone
Start a group for your house, your society, your team or your family. Anyone can create one and invite people.
Always the right author
Link every quote to the group member who said it, so you can see everything someone has ever said.
Just for you lot
What you save is visible only to the members of that group. No public feed, no strangers.
How it works
Three steps from something said to something kept.
Create a group
Give it a name: The Crow's Nest, the Johns, Tuesday Team.
Invite your people
Send an invite through your group chat. Anyone who joins can read along and add quotes straight away.
Save what gets said
Type the quote exactly as it was said and pick who said it. The typos are part of it.
Quote of the week
“I never said I could cook. I said I could order.”
Questions
Who can see my quotes?
Only the members of the group you save a quote in. There is no public feed.
Can I create my own group?
Yes. Anyone can create a group, pick a name and invite people. You can be in several groups at once.
Does my whole group need the app?
Nope! You can credit a quote to someone who doesn't have the app yet. If they install it later, the quote will already be under their name.
What is TestFlight?
Apple's app for trying out apps before they reach the App Store. Install TestFlight, tap the beta link and install QuoteUs from TestFlight.
What happens to my data?
We only store what QuoteUs needs to work. We use no tracking, never sell data and host everything in the European Union.
